Escondido Firefighters Endorsements

After an extensive interview process, the Escondido Firefighters Association has unanimously concluded that one candidate - Tom D'Agosta - distinguished himself above all others and clearly demonstrated his undisputable ability to lead this City as its next Mayor, thus earning the Association's endorsement.

Mr. D'Agosta, a life-long resident of Escondido, is the only candidate with extensive business background which includes owning and operating downtown retail businesses, a hotel and several restaurants. This strong business background combined with his experience as a former member of the Escondido City Council is exactly what this city needs as it begins the arduous task of balancing its budget and aggressively recruiting/creating jobs for this community. In addition, Tom D'Agosta clearly understands government's role and the responsibility it has to the citizens of Escondido. Tom has proven himself to be a voice of reason.

The Association will hold a press conference at Escondido City Hall on Thursday, May 27th, at 9:00AM to make this formal announcement. In addition to the candidate, it is anticipated that fire apparatus, many firefighters, and many supporters will be present.
